Looking for cheap chair rentals in Chicago, 25 chairs or less???
Only looking to rent 25 folding chairs @ $1.00 per chair.

Mark asks…
A dinner guest we’re having over is 300+ lbs. Is a folding metal chair enough?
Our current chairs at our dinner table are most likely not going to hold this weight. We care less about our chairs, though, than an embarrassing situation for everyone if one breaks. We have regular folding metal chairs for guests more than 5, and we’re having more than 5 peole over, so it won’t seem like we got the chair out just for her. Any advice appreciated.
admin answers:
Get a sturdy chair for her. She won’t be embarrassed – she’ll be grateful she doesn’t have to worry about a folding chair collapsing under her. This is a problem she has confronted many times before, so she knows quite well what the “downside risk” (sorry…) can be.

Folding Chair: How to attach a pen?
I’m trying to find a way to attach a pen to a few dozen metal folding chairs so that those sitting behind these chairs can use and return the pen when finished.
Requirements:
1) Nothing can be permanently attached to the chair; the device must be able to be removed and re-applied any number of times.
2) The “pen” can be any writing instrument.
3) The device must be available for purchase or made using materials that are available for purchase. This must be proved by providing a web page reference (unless it’s a very common item).
4) The solution must look professional (e.g. “duct tape” can solve almost any problem, but usually doesn’t look very nice.)
5) The total cost per each pen and its associated attachment device must be $1 or less.
6) The device must be quiet (e.g. no Velcro).
Magnetic solutions are welcome. I’ve considered attaching magnets to the pens, but that risks violating #4 above – not a very graceful solution.
Thank you all for giving this some thought!

I would definately consider the magnetic solution. A small high-powered magnet glued to the pen would work, but perhaps you could glue the magnet to a small metal tube that would slide over the pen barrel.
