James asks…
Snowboard jib plastic folding table?
Is it possible to use a white plastic folding table as a box for snowboarding? It;s just for a day, and I was wondering how that would work out.
admin answers:
Yes. But, you need snow. Go to you’re local ice rink and they usually have bunches of it in just laying there in the parking lot. Hopefully you got a truck to put a large tarp layed out and lay the snow on top of it. You’re going to have to put a little snow on the table, then a trail of it leading to the table with a small vert ramp to get on top of it. Hope this helps:)

Steven asks…
painting plastic folding table?
i am going to sand it down to get it a flat surface and then paint it. is there a special paint and after i paint it should i put a sealer paint on it? i will be putting stickers on it before i seal it. thank you
admin answers:
After you sand it and before you paint it, ( Primer it first ) . The primer allows to paint to adhere to the surface of the plastic. When the primer coat dries thoroughly then paint it and when that painted coat dries put on your stickers wherever you like and then use a clear coat on top of it. Let it dry and then apply another coat of clear.
Sand
Primer
Paint
Apply stickers
Then clear coat let dry to the touch and another coat of clear.
One last suggestion If I may.
I think you should use Acrylic primer and Acrylic Enamel Paint and also an Acrylic Clear Coat .I say this because you are doing a plastic table.
Acrylic paints have a Poly plastic base. If you were to use a ( Lacquer ) based paint you could destroy your table. Lacquer on plastic does not work, it will eat right through the table..So when buying your paint make sure it is acrylic enamel based paints. Ask the salesman for acrylic enamel. Same goes with the primer and clear coat paints.
Good luck

Betty asks…
I have an old plastic table that I want to make into an outdoor table?
It is one of those long tables that you might see set up at fundraisers or something . you can fold up the legs so you can transport them. the legs are metal and top plastic. it probably fits about 4 on each side and one on each end. can it be an outdoor table if I paint it and stuff or will it get ruined. what would i do to make it survive outside.
admin answers:
In a dry climate it might outlast you. Humid climates will eat it away (the metal of course).
What would you do with it anyway?
I say go ahead and use it outside.
Maybe a fresh coat of paint on the legs would help (they still might rust from the inside though). Keep the hinges and pivot points lubed with WD-40.
Regards!
